There have been many discussions regarding patient reported outcomes (PROs) including what to collect, how to collect, and when to collect these measures. However, real-life examples of the use of these instruments to improve efficiency, aid in patient selection to target improvement, and improve patient education, expectations, and satisfaction have been lacking. In this webinar, faculty will discuss how to align the collection of PROs with their value and use in foot and ankle clinical care.

At the conclusion of this webinar, you will be able to:

  • Understand the importance of asking the patient to identify the symptom(s) they hope to improve with their care
  • Align symptoms with a Patient Reported Outcomes Measurement Information System (PROMIS) domain and collect this domain for treatment tracking
  • Identify the most common PROMIS domains collected in foot and ankle
  • Understand the use of PROMIS t-scores for clinic efficiency, triage, and clinical care
