The American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society is offering a webinar titled "Foot and Ankle Focus: 2022 Resident Review" on October 12, 2022. The webinar is designed for foot and ankle surgeons, generalist orthopedic surgeons interested in expanding their scope of practice into foot and ankle, residents, and allied health professionals. The course will cover various topics including hallux valgus, hallux rigidus, MRI anatomy, flatfoot deformity and reconstruction, Achilles ruptures and tendinosis, and ankle arthritis among others. The webinar is supported by grants from Arthrex Inc. and Stryker and is provided free to AOFAS members and orthopaedic residents.<br /><br />The faculty for the webinar includes Paul Talusan, MD, Lara Atwater, MD, Sara Galli, MD, Megan Reilly, MD, Matthew Conti, MD, Kenneth Heida Jr., MD, David Oji, MD, Benjamin Umbel, MD, and David Walton, MD. Each faculty member specializes in foot and ankle surgery and comes from respected institutions.<br /><br />The webinar is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) and participants can earn a maximum of 1.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Participants are required to participate in the live program, answer the evaluation, and claim CME at the end of the webinar to receive their CME certificates.<br /><br />The webinar will cover key concepts and help residents prepare for exams, focusing on common foot and ankle problems. The content of the webinar was developed based on previous evaluations, practice gap analysis, membership surveys, and the AOFAS educational curriculum.
