This document provides information about an upcoming webinar on the topic of midfoot arthritis. The webinar is organized by the American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society (AOFAS) and is free for AOFAS members, orthopaedic residents, and fellows. It is designed for experienced foot and ankle surgeons, generalist orthopaedic surgeons interested in foot and ankle care, post-residency fellows and residents treating foot and ankle problems, and allied health professionals in foot and ankle care.

Midfoot arthritis affects approximately 12% of people over 50. It can be challenging to diagnose and treat due to the diverse symptoms and impact on adjacent joints. The webinar will cover topics such as the need for compression, bone grafts, and selection of joints for treatment. It will also discuss outcomes and complications of surgery, as well as unmet needs in current surgical treatments.

The webinar will feature faculty members who are experts in foot and ankle surgery. Dr. Judith Baumbauer will moderate the session, and other speakers include Dr. Mark Glazebrook, Dr. Timothy Daniels, and Dr. Alastair Younger. The agenda includes presentations on treatment, outcomes, diagnosis, and a discussion/Q&A session.

The webinar is supported by the Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Foundation, with funding from Arthrex Inc. The AOFAS aims to improve lives through exceptional orthopaedic foot and ankle care.

The document also includes information about accreditation, credit designation for physicians, and obtaining CME certificates. It highlights the AOFAS's mission to provide balanced and unbiased education, and the need for disclosure of any conflicts of interest.

Detailed disclosures of financial relationships and conflicts of interest are provided for both the webinar faculty and the education committee members involved in organizing the webinar.
