William C. McGarvey, MD, is a past president of the AOFAS and an associate professor at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center (UTHSC). He also serves as the residency program director for the orthopaedics department and foot and ankle fellowship director. His specialties include ankle joint replacement, Ilizarov methods of surgical correction, arthroscopic surgery, fracture care, orthopaedic trauma, and sports medicine.
