Though ultrasound has become popular in many medical subspecialties, most foot and ankle surgeons have not yet embraced this technology. This webinar will explore the diagnostic, prognostic, and therapeutic use of point of care ultrasound, and the potential benefits for foot and ankle practices and patients.
At the conclusion of this webinar, you will be able to:
List three disorders for which the use of point of care ultrasound could help the foot and ankle surgeon make a diagnosis and initiate immediate treatment without the need for referral and return appointment
Understand the potential use of function imaging with ultrasound for determining prognosis and aiding in treatment decision making
Describe three common office procedures that benefit from the use of ultrasound
