Minimally invasive surgery (MIS) is gaining attention in foot and ankle as an alternative to traditional open surgery with smaller incisions and quicker recovery after surgery. In this live webinar, Moderator Peter G. Mangone, MD, and expert faculty will provide an overview of MIS techniques and potential complications, and discuss applications of MIS for calcaneal osteotomy, bunionette correction, cheilectomy, Chevron and Akin osteotomy, and Lapidus procedures.

  • Prioritize the importance of both didactic education and formal hands-on training before beginning the use of minimally invasive surgery in patients.
  • Plan on using minimally invasive techniques for common orthopedic procedures and techniques performed in the foot and ankle once appropriately trained
