Overview

Our expert faculty of foot & ankle orthopaedic surgeons and physical therapists will present strategies for managing sports injuries. Topics include Achilles, Running and Stress Fractures, and Forefoot Pain. With breakout sessions and case discussion throughout the program, you'll gain comprehensive knowledge of surgical and non-surgical treatment options to help you get your patients back in the game.

Course Objectives

Upon completion of this course, learners should be able to:

  • Identify the various surgical and non-surgical management options for Achilles Rupture

  • Understand the unique loads placed on the foot when running and how these are altered with shoes or landing mechanics

  • Describe non-operative treatment strategies to off-load the painful forefoot

  • Identify the signs of stress fractures
