Hundreds of foot and ankle orthopaedic surgeons and advanced healthcare professionals came together in New Orleans for AOFAS Specialty Day 2018, a full day focused on complexities and controversies in foot and ankle surgical treatment.

AOFAS partnered with the Limb Lengthening and Reconstruction Society (LLRS) on a debate-style session examining whether challenging cases such as failed total ankle replacement, ankle deformity, and post-traumatic arthritis should be approached with external or internal fixation.
