Sports Injuries of the Foot & Ankle: Diagnosis and Treatment

Upon completion of this course, learners should be able to:

  • Identify types of foot and ankle injuries in sports
  • Describe indications for non-operative treatment and physical therapy
  • Describe indications for surgical treatment and postoperative care
  • Understand results of operative treatment
The American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society (AOFAS) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education (CME) for physicians. AOFAS designates these enduring materials for a maximum of 22.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. Participants are required to submit a completed evaluation form at the end of the meeting in order to receive CME credit.
