Target Audience
This course is designed for the experienced foot and ankle surgeon, the generalist orthopaedic surgeon interested in expanding their scope of practice into foot and ankle, post-residency fellows and residents who treat acute and chronic problems of the foot and ankle, and allied health professionals who work in foot and ankle care.

Description
In this in-depth webinar, expert faculty will share insight on current trends, clinical outcomes, and techniques in the surgical management of lesser toe deformity and MTP instability. Faculty will discuss minimally invasive surgery, open plantar plate repair, and more traditional open surgery involving metatarsal osteotomy with toe pinning.

Course Objectives
At the conclusion of this webinar, you will be able to:

Paul Talusan, MD is an Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Michigan specializing in disorders of the Foot and Ankle. Dr. Talusan was raised in Boston, where he completed his undergraduate studies at Boston College. He was awarded a medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine. Dr. Talusan completed his Orthopaedic Surgery residency at Yale University School of Medicine, where he published numerous peer-reviewed articles and received the O. Donald Chrisman Research Award. Dr. Neary, MD Dr. Neary is a nationally recognized Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon that specializes in Foot and Ankle injuries and deformities, treating patients throughout the Greater Mountain West region. Dr. Neary has enabled professional athletes, weekend warriors, and all types of recreationalists to get back to their preferred level of activity, in a friendly, patient-centric atmosphere. Dr. Neary was born and raised in Tacoma, Washington. Her family was incredibly active, taking full advantage of the outdoor opportunities provided by the Pacific Northwest. This helped to foster her life-long passion for the outdoors and belief in the importance of maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle – all values that later contributed to her pursuit of a career in Orthopaedic Surgery. She excelled as a student-athlete at the University of Minnesota where she played Division 1 soccer, was recognized as an Academic All-American, and played professionally for the Minnesota Lightning. Dr. Neary then fulfilled a lifelong dream, graduating medical school from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. This was followed by Orthopaedic Surgery residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and a Foot and Ankle fellowship at U.C. Davis/Reno Orthopaedic Clinic. She now practices as a full time Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Surgeon in Boise, Idaho.

Christopher Miller, MD is the chief of orthopaedic foot and ankle surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA. He teaches residents and fellows as part of the Harvard Combined Orthopaedic Residency Program.
