Join us for our January Ask the Expert where you'll be able to tap into the expertise of Dr. Gregory P. Guyton, one of the top orthopaedic foot and ankle surgeons in the field.

Dr. Guyton is the Division Chief of Foot and Ankle Surgery, and the Fellowship Director, at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital. His clinical interests include arthroscopic surgery for ligament, tendon and cartilage injuries, total ankle replacement, neuromuscular disorders, and minimally invasive surgery for severe bunions.

To participate, share your toughest cases and most challenging questions on the Ask the Expert thread in the Case Based Discussion Group.  Questions will then be answered during our live Ask the Expert event on Tuesday, January 12, from 8 - 9:30 pm CST where you will be asked to present your case for review. Please remember to keep all films and MRIs HIPPA compliant. 

At the conclusion of this Ask the Expert, learners will be able to:

  • Present foot and ankle clinical challenges for review and discussion
  • Identify ways to avoid potential complications in foot and ankle procedures
  • Describe and apply current research in foot and ankle disorders to improve patient care
  • Immediately apply practical solutions to clinical practice
AMA PRA CREDIT
AOFAS designates this live activity for a maximum of 1.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Ask the Expert participants are required to submit a completed evaluation form at the end of the course in order to receive CME credit.

Who Should Attend?

This educational program is designed for orthopaedic surgeons, physicians, and allied health practitioners in the field of orthopaedic foot and ankle surgery.


Statement of Need

A need for this educational activity has been determined based on previous course evaluations and the AOFAS educational curriculum. Accreditation

The American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society (AOFAS) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education (CME) for physicians.
